I’m a big believer in being part of the change you want to see in the world. That is why on Monday, I'm working with Shelter to raise awareness of their pop-up charity shop in Covet Garden. Tickets to my styling event are £10 and all money raised will go direct to the charity. And you can pick up a few second-hand gifts for loved ones for Christmas too doing your bit for the environment. Link in @secretstylingclub bio.
I also want to give a shout out to @brightongirlmag who are hosting The Big Wrap by collecting gifts for people struggling in our community from homelessness to domestic and sexual abuse.

AD // Christmas is pretty stressful, right? 🤯🎁 🎄 I feel like I could do with an extra day this week just to squeeze everything in I need to do (I’ve not even started my Xmas shopping 🙈). I’m living on oven ready meals and my to-do list is as long as my arm 🤦🏼‍♀️ That’s why it was such a treat to be invited to a ‘Winter Wellness Retreat’ by Ricola and Balance Magazine tonight. It was just what we all needed. I learned how to relax with breathing guru Rebecca Dennis, followed by a mindful garden session with the Botanical Boys. And we got to eat lots of mouthwatering Ricola Swiss herbal sweets guilt free (well...they are sugar free). It was like taking a mini-mind holiday in the run up to the silly season. How you holding up right now? I know you are busy too - but make sure to take some time out to care of yourself. Run a bath, have a cuppa, paint your nails...wouldn’t it be lovely for us to have a kind, calm and relaxing Christmas in 2019 - just how it is supposed to be x .

Brighton at this time of year has a magical feel to it. The streets feel calm, and free of slightly lost tourists. The city sparkles under the Christmas lights. The pubs are bustling with steamed up windows. On every corner there is music playing from buskers, carol singers or just drunken Xmas office parties. You can’t move for a roasted chestnut or mulled wine. And most nights the beach puts on this spectacular candy floss sunset just in time for mid-winter. It’s cold and bracing and determined and beautiful and breathtaking all at once. And I really couldn’t be happier.

Christmas it officially here 🎄 And to kick off the silly season, I have Christmassy content to share with you thanks to French Connection. My banister has been given a green makeover with faux foliage, fairy lights and the most delicate burnished gold and silver baubles. The mirrored hearts are my fave as they are sparkle at nighttime. How has your Sunday been? I’ve been at work...well if you call dressing up as an elf and making wreaths at the Elf HQ at Dunelm ‘work’ as such. Heading home covered in glitter with armfuls of foliage to decorate my home with. I’m doing my first EVER proper fashion photo shoot tomorrow. To say I’m a LITTLE BIT EXCITED 😬 is an understatement!!
